Ecuador : The land of mega-diversity. The value of tropical biodiversity

The Equat Eur has immense biodiversity, making it the focus of universities and foreign institutions, which devote efforts to study and explore.

Only in the small reserve of río Palenque , close Santo Domingo de los Colorados was discovered 1,250 species of plants (approx. 136 families) in less than one square kilometer.
